THUG Invitational Season 4: Team Xspark Becomes Champion

The THUG Invitational Season 4 has successfully concluded on January 31, 2022, where Team Xspark becomes champions. The prize poll of the tournament is ₹500,000 INR, the tournament is organized by Villager Esports and sponsored by Loco.

The THUG Invitational Season 4 had 24 Indias top-level invited teams where they divided all teams into 3 different groups. A total number of 24 matches to be played in this tournament and all invited teams will play 16 matches in the span of five days.

The Champion team, Team Xspark did not perform well on the first day. but they come back strongly from the second day, climbed to the first position on the third day, and manage to hold the first position with 101 kills and 215 total points till the final day of the tournament.

TSM India show their consistent performance again and secured second place with 89 kills and 196 total points. wheres Enigma Gaming started the tournament slow phase but till the end of the tournament they consistently climb the ladder and they secure third place with 103 kills and 195 total points. the underdog team Udog India had a great run till the fourth day but on the final day they didn’t perform well and they finished fourth place with 171 total points. Orangutan Esports finished fifth.

Fan-favorite Team Soul was playing with a new roster that was recently built, they managed to grab sixth place with a total of 161 points. Team 8bit placed seventh with 139 total points and team Insane Esports placed eighth in the table with 132 points.

The BGMI Champion Skylightz Gaming didn’t perform well in this tournament and they placed in 15th position on the table.

Reckoning Esports was on the top after the first day but they were penalized and did not allow to play one day because they broke the tournament rules. Team XO managed to get 10th place with 57 kills and 117 total points.

Global Esports and Velocity Gaming both the team again failed in a tournament as they finished 22nd and 23rd place, respectively.

Team Insane Esports had an average performance but their IGL Aadi manage to grab the MVP award with 34 kills. wheres SouL Goblin get 33 kills he missed the award by one kill but he manage to get the second spot in the top fragger list. followed by Papanahimanenge getting the third spot with 31 kills and gill getting the fourth spot with 30 kills.

Apart from that, Thug announced on the third day of the tournament that he will sponsor personally 1.5 Lakhs INR to shop sneakers for the MVP of the tournament, which means Team Insane Esports – Aadi will get 50,000 INR cash and 1.5 Lakhs INR for sneakers shopping.
