Ekushey Padak 2022: Ekushey Padak is the second-highest civilian award in Bangladesh. on Thursday Ministry of Cultural Affairs announced a notice with the list of 24 candidates who won this year Ekushey Padak 2022. including three rice scientists and five who received the award posthumously.
[Gaming]This year three scientists were recognized for their contributions, innovation, and development on high yield rice production.
The three scientists from BRRI researchers are Dr. Md Enamul Hoque, Dr. Shahanaz Sultana, and Dr. Jannatul Ferdous
The winners of the Ekushey Padak award will get a gold medal which is 35 grams weight and Tk 400,000 and a certificate.
On Feb 20th, 2022 an event will be hosted and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will present the awards.
