National University Admission As we know the National University, Bangladesh is the second largest university all over the world. So generally the admit students number is also high. In this case the university takes courses to different government and non government colleges.

National University has published the notice and prospectus about first year honors admission for 2020-21 session. This means that the admission notice has been published in all government and non-government colleges under the National University.

In the affiliated colleges of the National University, for the 2020-2021 academic year, the first year of the admission process (Honor) will be made online from 01 September 2019 4 pm and end on 15th September 2019 till 12 pm. Interested candidates will have to fill the application form from the National University admission website and will have to submit the print copy of candidate’s application form along with the preliminary application fee 250 Taka (two hundred and fifty) before 16 September 2019. Classes of this academic year will start from October 01, 2019.

NU Honors Admission General Qualification For Application

In the 2017/2018 SSC and 2019/2020 HSC exams in any board from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, the minimum GPA with 4th subject is different to apply for different groups.

Humanities	SSC: GPA 2.5 HSC: GPA 2.5
Commerce	SSC: GPA 3.0 HSC: GPA 2.5
Science	SSC: GPA 3.0 HSC: GPA 2.5

From the equivalent courses of Bangladesh Technical Education Board, H.S.C. (Vocational) H.S.C. (Business Management) Diploma-in-Commerce Examination candidates can apply on the admission process.

Under the National University, the students who are currently studying (Regarding registration card), graduate (Honor), Bachelor (Honor) Professional and Bachelor (pass) in regular/private courses, can not be admitted to the Graduate (Honors) category in the academic year 2020-2021.

However, admission of the previous academic year can be admitted to the Graduate (Honor) class for the year 2020-2021.

In the same or two academic years, if any candidate is a graduate (Honor), Bachelor (Honor) Professional, and Bachelor (pass) Dual admission in regular/private course, both admission will be considered canceled.

NU Admission Procedures, Number Distribution, And Results

The merit list for each college will be allocated for the first year as per the merit list of the candidates.

In case of merit of two or more applicants in the same institution/college in the same process, then in these cases, The GPA obtained in SSC and HSC examination with 4th subject of 40% and 60% respectively. The total number of SSC and HSC exams is (40% respectively 60%. Even if the merit of two or more applicants is one, then the age of the person who is young will be made prior to the merit.

The first merit list will be completed in phases, the second merit list, special quota, and release slip (if needed multiple times) will be done.
