Special Note
- Online application can no longer be started after 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2011 and at 5.30 pm on the same day. The online application server will be shut down; After that no more application can be submitted online.
- A total of 100 marks MCQ Type test will be conducted for groups A and B in the pre-selection test.
- Negative marking will be done in the pre-selection test and 25% of the value of the question will be deducted from the number obtained for each wrong answer.
- OMR sheet can only be filled with black ink ballpoint pen. Gel pens, fountain pens or pencils cannot be used.
- In the main admission test, all the questions and assessments of each subject of Module A and Mozil will be done in the conventional manner. MCQ Type in any subject There will be no questions.
- In view of the existing Covid-19 epidemic situation, the schedule described in paragraph 4 may change. Research or necessary information on this subject will be published on the Puetra website.

Eligibility to Participate in the Buet Admission Test
Candidates should pass the Secondary School Certificate / Admission / Equivalent Examination with a minimum GPA of 4.00 on a scale of 5.00 in Science (including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) in grade system from any Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Baird / Madrasa Education Baird / Technical Education Baird in Bangladesh. Must have or pass the equivalent examination from the Foreign Education Baird with at least equivalent grade.

Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 5.00 on a scale of 5.00 in a grade system with registration in any of the secondary and higher secondary education berds / madrasa education berds / technical education berds in higher secondary / alim / equivalent examinations in these three subjects. / Dakhil / Equivalent Examination Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in these three subjects with a minimum of 270 marks out of 300 marks to pass the Secondary / Dakhil / Equivalent Examination or at least equivalent grade / marks in the equivalent examination from the Foreign Education Board.

Candidates who have passed Secondary or equivalent examination in 2016 and Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination in 2019 but their revised results in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination have been published by Education Board after 10 September 2019, will be eligible for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. . Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Madrasa Education Baird / Technical Education Baird with a minimum of 480 marks out of 600 marks in these three subjects. Will.
All the applicants from 1st to 24,000th will be allowed to participate in the pre-selection test by selecting from among all the correct applicants on the basis of the prescribed number mentioned above. For this selection, the marks obtained in the three subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the secondary examination of the applicant, respectively, the marks obtained in Mathematics and the marks obtained in Physics will be considered as the order of priority.

Candidates who have passed GCE “O” Level and GCE “A” Level will have to participate in the pre-selection test with at least B grade and GCE “A” level in each of the five subjects (including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English) Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry must be passed with at least A grade in each of these three subjects.
All eligible applicants who have obtained GCE “O” Level and GCE “A” Level results subject to fulfilling the minimum qualifications will be given the opportunity to participate in the pre-selection test.

All eligible applicants belonging to ethnic minorities will be given the opportunity to participate in the pre-selection test subject to fulfilling the minimum qualifications.

Eligible candidates for the pre-selection examination will be divided into four shifts subject to fulfillment of the above conditions. Following the statistical method, the equivalence of the merit format of the candidates in each shift will be ensured. The list of eligible applicants for the pre-selection test will be published on the University’s Natish Baird and on the website (www.buet.ac.bd).

Students from 1st to 6000th (1st to 1500th in each shift) will be selected to participate in the main admission test according to the results of the pre-selection test.
