Instructions for SSC Examinees

The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has provided specific instructions for the examinees to follow during the SSC exam. The instructions include:

  1. Collecting Admit Card: Candidates should collect their admit card from their respective institution head at least three days before the commencement of the examination.

  2. Exam Time: The exam should be taken as per the time mentioned in the question paper.

  3. OMR Form: Candidates have to fill the circle in the OMR form of their respective answer sheet by writing his exam roll number, registration number, subject code, etc. appropriately. Under no circumstances should the answer sheet be folded.

  4. Passing Sections: Candidates have to pass creative or compositional (theoretical), multiple choice, and practical sections separately.

  5. Subject Availability: Every candidate can participate in the examination only in the subjects mentioned in the registration card. Under no circumstances will he appear in the examination in a different subject.

  6. Calculator: Candidates can use a general scientific calculator in the exam.

  7. Mobile Phone Usage: No other person or candidate can bring or use mobile phones in the examination center except the center secretary.

  8. Admit Card Usage: The same admit card should be used for appearing in creative or compositional (theoretical), multiple choice, and practical tests. The practical test will be held at the respective center or venue.

  9. Revaluation Application: Application for revaluation can be made through SMS within seven days of publication of exam results.

Other Important Information

The marks obtained through continuous evaluation as per the guidelines of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) for physical education, health science, and sports and career education subjects will be provided by the educational institutions to the concerned center. The concerned center will send the marks obtained in the continuous assessment along with the practical test marks online on the board website. The examination of a candidate will not be held in his own school or institution. Seats should be arranged through the transfer of candidates.
