Fortnite Save The World (STW) has been a beloved mode in the game since its inception. Players would team up to fight off hordes of monsters and protect the world from the Storm. One of the features that players have come to rely on is the Daily Login Rewards. These rewards provided players with various items and resources to enhance their gameplay experience. However, with the upcoming Fortnite update v25.10, Epic Games has decided to remove this feature, much to the disappointment of the community.
The Daily Login Rewards have been a staple in Fortnite STW for the past five years. Players would receive random rewards upon logging in, including Schematics, Heroes, Defenders, Survivors, Evolution Materials, and X-Ray Tickets. For those who owned the Founder’s edition of the game, they would also receive V-Bucks after logging in for a certain number of days. These rewards may not have been game-changing, but they provided a sense of progression and incentive for players to log in regularly.
According to an official blog post by Epic Games, the Daily Login Rewards will be removed after the downtime ends on June 20, 2023. This sudden decision has not been well-received by the Fortnite community. Many players are questioning the reasoning behind this change and expressing their disappointment. Some players have even spent a significant amount of money on the game, only to have this feature taken away.
The removal of the Daily Login Rewards has left players wondering what will replace them. Epic Games has stated that players will now earn rewards by completing Daily Quests. The idea behind this change is to ensure that the reward system feels more valuable and meaningful as players progress through the ranks. While this may be a valid reason, it remains to be seen how well-received this new system will be.
In addition to the removal of the Daily Login Rewards, there are other changes coming to Fortnite STW in the v25.10 update. Endurance Missions will now reward players with Evolution Materials, Perk Materials, Gold, and Battle Pass XP upon completion. This change aims to provide more incentives for players to engage in these missions. Furthermore, beginners who relied on the Daily Login Rewards for resources and items will now be compensated through the Mission Alerts tab. Players will have the opportunity to acquire Rare, Epic, and Legendary-rarity items in the Campaign Quests in Stonewood and Plankerton.
Lastly, the number of V-Bucks and Tickets that can be earned in the current system will be divided up to provide a daily value. This additional value will be added to the existing Daily Quest reward. In theory, completing each Daily Quest will now grant players 30 additional X-Ray Tickets, and those who own the Founder’s edition will receive an extra 30 V-Bucks.
While these changes have divided the Fortnite community, it’s important to note that Epic Games has a roadmap in place. They have taken the community’s feedback into consideration and are making adjustments to ensure a more balanced and rewarding experience. It remains to be seen how these changes will play out in the long run, but for now, players will have to adapt to the new reward system in Fortnite STW.
