Among the departments included in Unit A, there are 110 seats each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics. The second highest 100 seats are in Zoology and Botany. Besides, there are 75 seats in Computer Science and Engineering Department, 55 seats in Triplei Department and 50 seats in Soil Science Department.
There are 40 seats each in the departments of Biochemistry and Inspiration, Microbiology, Forestry, Geography and Ecology, Institute of Marine Sciences, Oceanography and Fisheries.
