Minecraft Championship (MCC) Pride 2023: Teams Revealed for First Half

Minecraft Championship (MCC) 31 has recently concluded, but the community group Noxcrew is already gearing up for their next event. On May 23, 2023, they announced the upcoming MCC Pride 2023, a Pride-themed championship set to take place on June 10, 2023. This special event aims to raise funds for The Trevor Project, an organization that supports and provides resources for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The teams for the MCC Pride 2023 have been slowly revealed by Noxcrew, and the first five teams have now been confirmed. These teams will be competing in a series of minigames, and each team consists of popular Minecraft content creators. The participating teams for MCC Pride 2023 are:

1. Red Rabbits – PeteZahHutt, GrianMC, GeminiTayMC, ZombieCleo
2. Orange Ocelots – OwengeJuice, Smajor1995, InTheLittleWood, Guqqie
3. Yellow Yaks – Aimsey, Jojosolos, FalseSymmetry, Shubble
4. Lime Llamas – OllieGamerz, Sylvee, Kara Corvus, Gee Nelly
5. Green Geckos – HBomb94, Ranboo, LilyPichu, Sykkuno

These teams follow the same color and mascot theme as previous tournaments, but the players have been rearranged to ensure a competitive championship. Noxcrew plans to announce the remaining five teams on June 2, just a few days before the event.

Before the official announcement of the participating teams, Noxcrew conducted a fan poll on Twitter to gauge which team viewers were rooting for. The Red Rabbits emerged as the clear favorite, winning by over a 30% margin. This may be attributed to the team’s success in previous tournaments. However, it’s important to remember that each new iteration of the championship brings its own surprises and challenges, so fans’ expectations may not necessarily align with the actual outcome.

Interestingly, Noxcrew’s tweets and videos have sparked speculation that Purpled, a key player in the Green Geckos’ victory in MCC 31, may be returning to compete in MCC Pride 2023. While no official announcement has been made, fans are excited at the possibility of seeing Purpled in action once again.

Unfortunately, not all previous participants will be able to join MCC Pride 2023. Snifferish, for example, announced on Twitter that they would not be able to compete due to other commitments. However, they expressed their support for the event and promised to cheer on their friends from the sidelines.

Noxcrew has assured fans that the full roster of players will be revealed on June 2, giving viewers time to speculate and predict which team will emerge victorious in this year’s Pride-themed championship. With the combination of skilled Minecraft content creators and the spirit of Pride, MCC Pride 2023 promises to be a memorable and exciting event for both participants and viewers alike.
