
The Islamic Arabic University Honours examination results have been published. The results were officially announced on March 8, 2026. Thousands of students across the country participated in this examination under the Islamic Arabic University.
According to the university authority, the overall pass rate in the Honours examinations is 82.98 percent. Students can now check their results online through the official result portal of the university.
The results were formally announced by the Vice-Chancellor of the university. The announcement took place at the university office during a meeting with senior officials. During the program, a summary of the examination results was handed over to the Vice-Chancellor by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor.
How Many Students Participated in the Examination
The statistics show that a large number of students registered for the Honours examinations under the Islamic Arabic University. In total, 19,036 students registered across four academic years. Among them, 12,390 students actually participated in the exams.
Out of the participating students, 10,272 successfully passed the examination. The results also show that 330 students could not pass. In addition, six students were expelled from the examination for violating rules.
Year-Wise Pass Rate Details
The examination results were published for four different academic years of the Honours program. Each year has a slightly different pass rate based on the number of students who participated in the exams.
In the first year, 3,955 students took part in the examination. Among them, 3,220 students passed. The pass rate for the first year is 81.42 percent.
In the second year, 3,118 students participated in the exams. A total of 2,651 students passed. The pass rate for the second year is 85.02 percent, which is the highest among the four years.
For the third year examinations, 3,052 students appeared in the exams. Among them, 2,531 students successfully passed. The pass rate for this year stands at 82.93 percent.
In the fourth year, 2,265 students participated in the examination. Among them, 1,870 students passed. The pass rate for the final year is 82.56 percent.
University Authority’s Statement
While announcing the results, the Vice-Chancellor said that the university is working to ensure quality education for madrasa students. He also mentioned that the institution is focusing on building skilled and qualified graduates through strong academic programs.
According to the university authority, efforts will continue to modernize madrasa education in Bangladesh. The goal is to make education more practical and suitable for employment opportunities in the future.
When the Honours Examinations Were Held
The written examinations for the Honours program started on December 6, 2024. The written tests continued until December 29, 2024. After that, oral examinations were conducted and completed on January 11.
After completing all examination processes, the university authority prepared the results and finally published them in March 2026.
