Dhaka University has announced important information about the Technology Unit admission for the 2025-2026 academic session. DU Technology Unit Admission 2026
The Technology Unit of Dhaka University offers admission to several engineering and textile institutes affiliated with the university. These institutes provide four-year undergraduate programs in engineering and technology related subjects. After completing the degree, students receive certificates under Dhaka University.

Eligibility Requirements

The admission test will be held in MCQ format. All questions will come from science subjects that students studied in their HSC level. The test will measure the analytical ability and basic science knowledge of the applicants.

Candidates must score at least 40 percent marks to be considered for the merit list. That means students must get at least 48 marks in the admission test.
Merit List Preparation
The final merit list will be prepared using both the admission test marks and academic results. Dhaka University calculates the merit score out of 200 marks.

- SSC GPA × 8 = 40 Marks
- HSC GPA × 8 = 40 Marks
Students with higher scores will be placed at the top of the merit list. After that, candidates will get subject choice options according to their position and available seats.
