Eligibility of Cadet College Admission Application

Those who wish to participate in the cadet college admission test must be citizens of Bangladesh. In addition, they must have passed the 6th class or equivalent examination, must be a maximum of 14 years of age within the stipulated time and both children must have a minimum height of 4 feet 6 inches. Students who have not already passed the admission test are ineligible to apply.

In addition, those suffering from various physical problems such as gross knock knees, flat feet, color blindness and excess weight and various diseases such as asthma, epilepsy, heart disease, arthritis, tuberculosis, chronic diarrhea, hepatitis, night blindness, diabetes and a few other diseases are considered ineligible to apply. Cadet College Admission Application Rules

Students need to apply online to participate in the Cadet College Admission Test. For Cadet College Admission Circular students and their parents have to use this website www.cadetcollege.army.mil.bd. Candidates are required to use passport-size photos of not more than 180×210 and 200 KB at the time of application. Pictures must not be older than 15 days.

Application Fee and Deposit Procedure

Candidates can submit the examination application fee using Trust Bank Mobile Money, Q Cash, or SMS from any mobile with Teletalk Prepaid SIM – using any one of these three mediums.

Cadet College Required documents and submission procedure

Attested Certificate of Candidates’ Primary Education Completion Examination or Primary  Education Completion Examination Certificates passed by the head of their respective institution for the students studying in 5th class through English; Attested photocopy of the candidate’s birth registration or birth certificate; Certificate of the candidate mentioning the year of passing the sixth or equivalent examination by the head of the concerned institution; If the result is not published then the candidate will pass the examination by the head of the concerned institution.

Certificate from the concerned authority in favor of the monthly income of the parents or guardians of the candidate; Attested photocopy of National Identity Card of both the parents of the candidate (Certificate of Reason for not having an Identity Card) and color photograph of passport and stamp size similar to the photo of the candidate uploaded in the online application form. After successfully completing the online application form, the said documents should be sent by registered post or courier to the address of the cadet college in charge of the examination center mentioned in the candidate’s entry form by 3 January 2014 mentioning the index number and name of the examination center on the 15×10 inch envelope.

It is to be noted that in order to get the quota facility, the candidates must apply online through the e-booth outlets of the cadet colleges. In that case the quota holders will have to bring with them the necessary paperwork in support of their respective quota along with other documents and soft copy of photo. For the convenience of candidates and parents, an e-booth outlet has been set up at each cadet college and at Dhaka Army Stadium for online application and submission of required documents. Online application, required documents and application fees can be submitted by appearing at all these e-booths.

Testing medium:

Tests can be given in Bengali and English. However, the candidate has to choose any one medium.

Test distribution:

A total of 300 admission test was held. Of these, 65 marks in English, 55 marks in Mathematics, 40 marks in Bengali and 30 marks in General Knowledge.
